MILESTONE TRIPS
At Sample Supports, we celebrate the dedication of our employees and host home providers with special milestone trips that recognize their years of service. After five years, providers enjoy a three-day, two-night getaway at Riversong Inn Retreat in Estes Park with accommodations for themselves and a guest, breakfast included, a dinner voucher, and paid respite coverage if needed. At the ten-year mark, providers are treated to a six-day, five-night stay at any Happy Vacation Homes property, with flights and accommodations covered for them and their immediate family, along with respite support. Employees also receive milestone trips, with a four-day, three-night vacation at a Happy Vacation Homes property for themselves and their immediate family, complete with flights, accommodations, and a meal stipend at five years, and a six-day, five-night trip with the same benefits at ten years. Beyond these milestones, staff and providers can enjoy ongoing discounts at Happy Vacation Homes properties that grow more generous over time—starting at 15 percent and increasing up to 75 percent after a decade of service. These trips and discounts are our way of showing genuine gratitude for the loyalty, compassion, and commitment our team brings to the people we serve

We are so fortunate to have employees who have been with us for 5+ years and truly could not do the work we do without them.
To celebrate these milestones, we launched our 5 Year Trip program where employees can select a vacation destination and we cover the rest. This benefit is available for all full-time employees agency-wide upon completing their 5 years of employment.

Sara traveled to Sayulita, Mexico for her 5 Year Trip. Sara has worked across many of our programs and is currently our Regional Director in Northern Colorado. Sara shared that, “it is so great to have a company that values investing in their employees as much as Samples does. When I first started here, hearing about the 5 Year Trip was really exciting and in the blink of an eye I got to actually plan it! I am so excited for the next 5!”
Bri chose to adventure to Casco, Maine to spend a relaxing week on the lake soaking up her accomplishments. Bri joined our team as a Direct Support Professional 5+ years ago and is now our Regional Director in Denver. Bri shared that, “this trip meant appreciation for my hard work and dedication. It felt like the age old adage work hard, play hard embodied”.
Alexa spent a week in Sayulita, Mexico celebrating all of her work at Sample Supports. Alexa joined our team in 2014 working every position we have to offer and is currently our CEO. Alexa shared, “this was the trip of a lifetime – not only because of the amazing home and location, but because of the encouragement to take time and space to celebrate all we have accomplished”.
Alyse has been with Sample Supports for a little over 7.5 years and decided to head to Sayulita, Mexico for her 5 Year Trip. Alyse shared, “it was such an incredible trip with my family! Not only were we able to reconnect and unwind, but I was also able to really reflect on my experiences thus far with Sample Supports. I am grateful to be part of a company that values their employees and fosters their success! Excited to see what the future holds”.
“In 2023 We were blessed with a free vacation to Casco , Maine. We’ve been together for 23 years and this trip was truly the most Relaxing and enjoyable trip we’ve ever been on! We stayed in the Main Lake House and the whole place was fabulous. Very comfortable and very well maintained! Drinking coffee on the porch and being right on the lake was Super relaxing! We were very touched that the company we worked for wanted to give us a trip! Carmen and Mark Sample are not only great hosts, they are very generous and giving. It is clear throughout their agencies and also their properties. Thank you Samples! Here are a few photos from Maine. The Eagle flew in for dinner on our last night there, an awesome ending to our Wonderful Vacation!”
