Marie is a passionate behavioral health professional and social worker with more than five years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, dual diagnoses, and complex behavioral needs. As the Behavior Program Manager for the Denver region, she oversees an expansive program serving more than 100 adults while directly providing counseling, assessment, and behavior intervention services for her own caseload.

Marie is known for her strong clinical foundation, person-centered approach, and calm, strategic leadership in crisis situations. She leads a skilled team of clinicians, facilitates hiring and training, and collaborates closely with internal partners to ensure that behavior services are holistic, trauma-informed, and fully aligned with Colorado’s Health Care Policy and Financing standards. Her clinical toolkit includes CBT, DBT, ABA methods, motivational interviewing, and extensive experience completing behavioral assessments, functional analyses, and risk evaluations.

Before stepping into her current leadership role, Marie served as a Behavior Specialist, managing a large caseload and providing a wide range of therapeutic supports. Her career also includes meaningful work as a peer mental health educator, undergraduate neuroscience researcher, and mentor for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Marie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Statistics from Appalachian State University and will begin the Master of Social Work (MSW) program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in April.

Her passion for mental health, inclusive communities, and high-quality behavioral supports drives everything she does. She is committed to strengthening systems, empowering teams, and delivering services that help individuals lead meaningful, self-directed lives.
