Melanie Jurgens brings more than two decades of hands-on financial and business experience to her role as Senior Finance Manager at Sample Supports. Before joining the organization, Melanie spent much of her career as a bookkeeping contractor and consultant, supporting a wide range of businesses with practical, solutions-focused financial management. She is also an entrepreneur at heart, having co-owned and operated a coffee roasting business and a coffee and smoothie food truck – experience that gives her a deep appreciation for both operational realities and financial strategy.

Melanie joined Sample Supports initially as a billing contractor, where her expertise and adaptability quickly led her to take on broader responsibilities across the finance function. As systems evolved and billing became automated, Melanie’s role naturally expanded into bookkeeping support. When bookkeeping services were later outsourced, she transitioned into Accounts Receivable Manager and eventually into her current leadership role, continuing to evolve alongside the organization’s growing and changing needs.

Known for her strong systems knowledge, problem-solving mindset, and ability to navigate complex financial workflows, Melanie plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, continuity, and operational support across multiple entities. She holds two associate degrees and brings extensive proficiency across financial and operational systems, pairing technical skill with real-world business insight.
