Shayna Winship, BS

Northern Colorado Day/SE Program Manager

Shayna is a dedicated behavioral health and disability services professional with a strong background in program management, clinical support, and person-centered care. She currently serves as the Day Program and Supported Employment Manager, where she oversees a team of 30 staff and supports more than 50 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building skills, accessing the community, and finding meaningful employment opportunities. Known for her advocacy, organization, and steady leadership, Shayna works closely with families, case managers, employers, and community partners to ensure every client receives equitable opportunities and high-quality support.

 

Before stepping into management, Shayna built deep clinical experience at Sensitive Solutions Behavioral Health, where she worked her way from Behavior Technician to Lead RBT to Office Manager. In those roles, she developed strong skills in ABA procedures, crisis support, communication with families, schedule and systems management, staff training, and clinic operations. Her earlier work as an early childhood teacher, resident assistant, and university mentor further strengthened her ability to connect with diverse individuals, navigate challenging situations, and create supportive environments.

 

Shayna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Counseling from Colorado State University, where she graduated with a 3.98 GPA and was recognized on the Dean’s List every semester. She is certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, CPR/First Aid, and RBT training and has extensive experience with behavioral assessments, early childhood development, teaching, and mentoring.

 

Shayna is working towards her Master of Social Work program at Colorado State University—an exciting next step that aligns with her passion for helping people, strengthening systems, and leading supportive, inclusive programs. She brings warmth, empathy, and a solutions-focused mindset to every role she takes on and is committed to empowering individuals to access meaningful opportunities and thrive.
